WATCH | ANC in talks over Putin visit

JOHANNESBURG - ANC Treasurer General Gwen Ramokgopa says discussions are ongoing on whether President Vladimir Putin will attend the BRICS summit in August.

This comes after President Cyril Ramaphosa told the High Court in Gauteng that arresting Russian President Vladimir Putin on South African soil would be a declaration of war against Russia.

On Wednesday, the BRICS Political Parties Plus Dialogue will continue with international political parties engaging in commissions about improving the BRICS block.
