KATLEHONG, GP - The Incredible Happenings Ministry's congregants are expected to gather at the now burnt church structure in  Katlehong on Sunday.

This as their pastor,  Paseka  Mboro Motsoeneng, remains in police custody.

The church was burnt down by the angry community this week, following videos showing  Mboro threatening teachers with a  panga at a school.

The congregation is set to pray for  Mboro on Sunday.

BLOEMFONTEIN, FS - The former personal assistant to ex-Free State Premier Ace Magashule is set to appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate's court on Monday after being extradited from the United States.

Moroadi Cholota faces charges of fraud, corruption, money laundering, and violating the Public Finance Management Act after refusing to cooperate with the State in the ongoing investigation.

JOHANNESBURG - More meetings are being held between stakeholders to decide the fate of the city of Joburg mayor.

Parties and civil society organisations have been calling for mayor Kabelo Gwamanda to resign.

They say service delivery has worsened under his leadership.

CAPE TOWN - With the weather in the Swartland Municipality now easing up, city officials say this will enable their teams to repair municipal services destroyed when a dam wall collapsed in the area last week.

More than 115 destitute residents have been accommodated at nearby shelters, including schools and churches.
