Mandela Day | SA chefs ladle out love in soup-er effort

JOHANNESBURG - South African chefs ladled out the love on Mandela Day this year.

Chefs with Compassion intended to cook up 67,000 litres of soup for the less fortunate.

But, the outpouring of charity was so great they managed over 100,000 litres.

This brought warmth to the bodies of 400,000 recipients and warmth to the souls of the volunteers.
