Discussion | Chief Justice Zondo to be succeeded by his deputy

JOHANNESBURG - South Africa is celebrating the confirmation of Justice Mandisa Maya, as the country's first black female Chief Justice.

The 60-year-old has been serving as Raymond Zondo's deputy, but is now set to take over the reins at the end of August.

Retired constitutional court judge Zak Yacoob, and Nomaswazi Shabangu from the South African Women Lawyers Association discussed this with eNCA.
