Suspected poisoned kids laid to rest

EAST LONDON - A child and two toddlers who recently died from suspected food poisoning in the Eastern Cape have been laid to rest in Mdantsane.

Lithembelihle Bambela, Iminathi Bambela and Live Ndudane all aged between one and four fell ill shortly before they died after eating instant porridge.

Their deaths and the mass killing of 18 people in Lusikisiki last weekend have cast a dark cloud in the province.
