WATCH | SAPS wants replica guns outlawed

CAPE TOWN - Western Cape Police and City of Cape Town law enforcement agencies have seen a significant number of crimes being committed using replica and modified guns.

Hundreds of these have been confiscated in the past year.

Now there is a call for legislation to ban these guns with the city already in the process of amending its streets and public bylaw to make it an offence to carry imitation guns in public.
