14 nabbed for Zimbabwean businessman kidnapping

JOHANNESBURG - A total of 14 suspects have been arrested for kidnapping a Zimbabwean businessman outside his workplace in Johannesburg on Sunday.

The suspects include three Chinese nationals and two Mozambicans.

Gauteng police and the anti-kidnapping task team found the victim in a house in Diepkloof, Soweto on Monday.

They traced the alleged kidnappers to various locations.

Eight were arrested at an apartment in Greenstone Park and the rest were nabbed in Sandton.

Multiple speed point machines and two firearms were seized.

Police are urging the public to report suspicious activities in their communities.
