CAPE TOWN - Clinicians have hailed a new paediatric care framework as a major boost for South Africa’s healthcare ecosystem.
The Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital in Cape Town is currently putting the finishing touches on the framework.
Paediatricians say it will boost the quality of support for children diagnosed with life-threatening medical conditions.
The initiative is being rolled out ahead of World Hospice and Palliative Care Day on Saturday.
