Eskom to freeze some pensions

JOHANNESBURG - Eskom will freeze the pensions of staff who have resigned in the face of disciplinary proceedings.

The utility's internal forensic head, Christopher Baloyi gave an update on current investigations.

This comes after the power utility can finally bank former CEO, Brian Molefe R31.5 million including interest.

Eskom announced earlier that it will enforce an order granted to the Eskom Pension Fund, to recover the money, since Molefe's appeal was dismissed.
