KZN political killings | Abahlali Basemjondolo discusses assassinations

DURBAN - The shack dwellers movement Abahlali Basemjondolo are also concerned about the assassinations as members of their organization have also been targeted and killed.

There have been over 20 killings of members since 2005.

This has left many of its leaders on edge as threats of violence against its leaders continue.

The movement says it is concerned that political murders are likely to escalate ahead of next year's national and provincial government elections.

General Secretary of the movement, Thapelo Mohapi discussed this with eNCA.
