Discussion | Extreme weather compromises Eskom's network

JOHANNESBURG - The extreme weather conditions and snowfall experienced this weekend are compromising Eskom’s network.

Some areas in the Eastern Cape are reporting increasing faults, with over 90,000 customers impacted.

The utility indicated on Saturday that its inability to access certain areas is affecting service restoration times.

Eskom Eastern Cape Spokesperson, Zama Mpondwana spoke to eNCA with updates on these and other issues.
