2024 Elections | NADEL says political parties must respect the judiciary
JOHANNESBURG - Political campaigning is heating up, as the 2024 general election draws near.
The National Association of Democratic Lawyers (NADEL) is condemning attempts by political parties to exploit members of the judiciary.
This comes after an image of Chief Justice Mandisa Maya was used by the ANC on a campaign poster, without her consent.
The ANC has since apologised and withdrawn the image, but the move has sparked debate. Mvuzo Notyesi, the National Association of Democratic Lawyers' President spoke to eNCA about the incident.
