2024 elections | IEC clarifies how special voting works

JOHANNESBURG - The Independent Electoral Commission has called on authorities to expedite the investigations into claims that the MK Party submitted fraudulent signatures.

This is just one of the issues the IEC is dealing with in the run up to elections on 29 May.

Its appeal against the decision of the Electoral Court to allow former President Jacob Zuma to run as a candidate will be heard on 10 May.

The CEO of the IEC, Sy Mamabolo discussed this and other issues such as special voting with eNCA.
