Lawyer engaging NPA on Speaker’s arrest

PRETORIA - A lawyer for National Assembly Speaker Nosiviwe Mapisa-Naqakula says he is in discussions with the National Prosecuting Authority about her arrest.

This after the Gauteng High Court rejected her application to block her arrest.

Mapisa-Nqakula is accused of accepting bribes amounting to over R4-million when she was Defence Minister.
