Namibian woman appeared in court for drug trafficking

KEMPTON PARK - The Namibian woman found to have swallowed over 60 pellets of suspected cocaine is appeared in the Kempton Park Magistrate's Court on Wednesday. 

The 30-year-old was arrested at OR Tambo International Airport the past weekend.

Law enforcement agents intercepted her flight from Brazil. 

The woman was taken to hospital for X-rays, and some of the drugs were successfully extracted.
