JOHANNESBURG - There's been much discussion following the recent release of the country's third-quarter unemployment figures.

They're showing a slight improvement,

with the jobless rate decreasing by 0.7 of a percentage point to 31.9%.

This compares with the unemployment rate of 32.6% in the second quarter.
