WATCH | Thabo Bester wants death sentence

JOHANNESBURG - Facebook rapist and murderer, Thabo Bester, says he'd rather be sentenced to death than continue to be treated unfairly.

He's accusing the Correctional Services Department of infringing his rights to a fair trial and claims his co-accused are innocent.

Bester, Nandipha Magudumana and 7 others appeared in the Free State High Court on charges related to his elaborate escape from prison.
