PRETORIA - Matric results will be published after the Information Regulator's urgent application, was struck off the roll by the High Court in Pretoria.
It ruled that the matter did not warrant any urgency.
The regulator argues that the publishing of the results is a violation of the Protection of Personal Information Act.

However, the Basic Education Department and other parties insist the publishing of the results,
is in the public's interest.
That ruling has divided opinion in legal circles.
