JOHANNESBURG - Water remains one of the country's most valuable resources, yet millions of South Africans still don't have access to safe, clean drinking water.
As we mark National Water Week, shortages and supply disruptions are becoming more and more frequent. This is due to high water consumption, leakages, ageing infrastructure, sabotage and illegal borehole drilling.
So how can we solve this? More responsible usage? Government intervention?
