JOHANNESBURG - The science, technology, engineering, and mathematics careers are still mainly male-dominated.
Even though women now fill up to 40% of high-skill occupations globally, their participation in ICT-related fields continues to be low. They also tend to leave science and technology jobs at higher rates than men.
The Bizmod Women's Trust wants to change all of that, by empowering underprivileged girls who wish to enter the ICT sector.
