SIU probe saves Health Department billions

JOHANNESBURG - A law firm fraudulently claimed R497-million from Eastern Cape Health.

The National Department has forked out over R7-billion in medico-claims across all provinces.

The Special Investigating Unit has been probing dodgy medico-legal claims, saying it's saved government R3-billion.
