Port problems | Private sector waiting to sail into port

JOHANNESBURG - South African ports need to lift anchor and change course urgently.

The SA Association of Freight Forwarders says this can be done by involving the private sector.

The call comes on the heels of a recent High Court ruling on the Durban Container Terminal.

It raised critical procedural flaws at the port.

SAAFF says this is an opportune moment to review the framework for investment and inter-port competition.
