The South African Communist Party a key alliance partner of the ANC is not taking this lightly.

The SACP is calling on government to hit back by withdrawing trade concessions to the US.

According to Alex Mashilo, national spokesperson and member of the SACP Central Committee, the South Africa needs to boost agricultural production, not give up on any market, and work to advance a campaign for equitable trade relations.
