JOHANNESBURG - Investigators from the National Consumer Commission found expired food in several spaza shops in Naledi, Soweto, and in the Buffalo City metro, in the Eastern Cape.

Inspectors have been on a week-long inspection of spaza shops.Over 80 children in Gauteng and Limpopo have been hospitalized following a tragic incident in Soweto, where six children died after eating chips due to suspected food poisoning cases.
