JOHANNESBURG - The country remains divided over the citizenship of Miss SA 2024 finalist, Chidimma Adetshina.

The 23-year-old who's believed to have a Nigerian father and South African mother has been facing backlash.

Some social media users say she doesn't represent the country but Nigeria.

But, the Miss SA pageant says its done thorough background checks, and Adetshina meets the requirements.

GBV activist and CEO of Free World Initiative, Lebo Motau, Operation Dudula leader, Zandile Dabula and Immigration specialist, Moeketsi Seboko, spoke to eNCA.
