Discussion | Mantashe proposes tax on raw mineral exports

JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa called for the beneficiation of minerals at the opening of Parliament.

Mineral Resources Minister Gwede Mantashe has come up with some ideas to make this possible.

He proposes taxing raw mineral exports and providing an incentive scheme for beneficiation processes.
