JOHANNESBURG - The Electoral Amendment Act passes constitutional muster as decided by the Constitutional Court.

It says the allocation of seats in the National Assembly is fair.

But, it did make some changes to entry requirements for independent candidates.

They will now only be required to gather 1,000 signatures to register with the IEC.
