663kg of litter removed from Milnerton beach
CAPE TOWN - This weekend saw a record set on Cape Town's beaches.
Non-profit organisation Save a Fishie undertook the longest ever beach clean up.

Over a period of 27 hours, the NPO and a team of volunteers collected over 660 kilograms of litter and waste.
The goal was to raise awareness of the plastic problem South Africa faces, which in turn affects marine life and in some cases becomes deadly.
Save-A-Fishie founder and CEO Zoë Prinsloo discussed this with eNCA.
