Zondo hangs up robes after 27 years

JOHANNESBURG - After 27 years on the bench, South Africa's Chief Justice, Raymond Zondo, is hanging up his robes.

Zondo was appointed to the position two years ago, after acting in the position for a year.

One of the most notable moments in his illustrious career was his role as the head of the judicial commission of inquiry into allegations of state capture during former President Jacob Zuma’s tenure.

eNCA’s senior reporter, Aviwe Mtila, takes us through the career of the outgoing Chief Justice in the video above.
