WATCH | Suspected Khayelitsha CIT robbers set free

KHAYELITSHA - The case against 5 suspected cash-in-transit robbers has been struck off the roll.

They were arrested after a shootout with police on Monday evening that left 8 other suspects dead.

The suspects appeared on Thursday at the Khayelitsha Magistrate's Court.

Their lawyers argued the men were detained beyond the allowed 48 hours before being brought to court.
