State Capture Inquiry | Four ANC MPs cleared of all wrongdoing

JOHANNESBURG - Four ANC MPs implicated at the State Capture Inquiry have been let off the hook.

They were cleared of any wrongdoing by Parliament's Ethics Committee.

The committee says it acted impartially and did not consider political affiliations.

"I must indicate that the ethics committee does not look at members as affiliates or members of particular political parties. When we deal with issues, we deal with members as members of parliament who have taken an oath to uphold the law," says Bekizwe Nkosi, member of Parliament Ethics Committee.

"Secondly, at all times we act in a manner that ensures the integrity, trust and confidence of people in Parliament," he says.
