JOHANNESBURG - Residents of Swaneville outside Krugersdorp continue to endure a stench of sewage years after they begged for help.
Their RDP houses and nearby Slovoville Primary School were built in defiance of environmental authorisation.
According to Gauteng’s Environmental Department, no environmental authorisation was given to build the school there.
Houses, too, were built on the wetland.
Residents say raw sewage often flows into their homes.
