JOHANNESBURG - More than 100 MPs from around the world have signed a letter of support for South Africa and calling on US President, Donald Trump, to retract his executive order suspending aid to the country.
They claim Trump is punishing South Africa for pursuing its own policies and objectives both on home soil and abroad.

The February order stopped crucial aid under a false pretense of protecting Afrikaners from race-based discriminatory laws.
The White House has accused South Africa of racially persecuting Afrikaners after the newly introduced Expropriation Act was announced.
