Restore the power grid | Minister visits Medupi and Matimba power stations

JOHANNESBURG - Electricity Minster Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa is visiting the Medupi and Matimba Power Stations in Lephalale today.

This visit is part of his ongoing efforts to acknowledge the hard work of power station staff in improving generation performance.

Today marks 56 days since the country last experienced power cuts.

The last time we had relief like this was in December 2021 into February 2022.

This visit also follows recent engagements at Megawatt Park, as well as Kusile, Kendal, Arnot, Hendrina, Duvha, Camden, Majuba, Tutuka, Lethabo, and Grootvlei Power Stations.
