Police launch manhunt after teen brothers murdered

CAPE TOWN - Detectives from the Western Cape's anti-gang unit are investigating a double homicide after two brothers were shot dead in Lavender Hill on Saturday morning.

The teens aged 14 and 17, were slain in a suspected gang violence incident.

 Fearful community members say a police deployment following such an incident is not sufficient because they need ongoing police visibility in the area.
