Midrand man found with estimated 10 million images, videos of child porn arrested

MIDRAND - A 35-year-old man has been arrested in Midrand, Gauteng for possession, accessing and distribution of child pornography.

Police spokesperson Amanda Van Wyk said the arrest of the suspect emanates from information that they received from international law enforcement.

This she said through further investigations led them to a house in Midrand. 

According to Van Wyk, the scene remains active adding that they have recovered roughly 10 million images and videos depicting child pornography.
