JOHANNESBURG - Help is on the way for truck drivers stuck at the Lebombo Border Post between Mozambique and South Africa.
Ongoing post-election violence in Mozambique has forced South African authorities to restrict movement at the border.
It is currently open only for small vehicles.
This leaves truck drivers stranded on their journey between the two countries.
Gift of the Givers says it is on its way to provide humanitarian relief for the drivers. In the meantime, affected South African businesses report losses of up to R10m a day.
Hundreds of truckers stranded at the Lebombo Border Post say they are worried the situation won't be resolved soon.
