JOHANNESBURG - Fed-up Johannesburg residents and various civil society groups want Mayor Kabelo Gwamanda gone.
Organisations under the umbrella of the Joburg Crisis Alliance have handed over a memorandum of demands, to the speaker on Saturday.
Gwamanda is accused of being out of his depth as a leader of South Africa's economic heartland.
The protesters say the lack of services and the fast rate of decay in the City of Johannesburg, have worsened under his leadership.
