MIDRAND - The Independent Electoral Commission says it's all systems go for the 2024 general elections.
This is despite the election date not yet declared.
CEO Sy Mamabolo says the commission has been talking to President Cyril Ramaphosa.
He says the commission will be ready for any date in the window period of May to August next year.

South Africans will be voting at over 23,000 voting stations across the country during next year's election.
Hundreds of thousands of people have been hired to assist during the polls.
The Independent Electoral Commission says dry runs will begin this weekend, and voter registration will be held in November.
