Twelve pupils including 8 prefects accused of racism at Pretoria High School for Girls were found not guilty by an SGB tribunal.
The prefects will be reinstated to their leadership positions.
The Gauteng Department of Education spokesperson Steve Mabona says the probe is an effort to crack down on whether a culture of racism exists at the school.
