JOHANNESBURG - Heatwave conditions, coupled with a lack of rain has led to higher water supply demands in the City of Johannesburg.
That is according to Johannesburg Water who are appealing to residents to reduce consumption.
At the same time, Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi, says he is concerned about the ongoing water crisis in parts of Johannesburg.
Lesufi says he has summoned all relevant stakeholders to ensure the crisis is resolved before the end of the week.
