CAPE TOWN - The death toll in the George building collapse has risen to four.
They died after a multi-storey building collapsed on Victoria Street in the Western Cape town.
24 others have been rescued and are receiving medical attention.
Emergency and disaster teams are scrambling to rescue dozens more still unaccounted for.
The George Municipality says around 75 construction workers were on site when the building collapsed.
Mayor Leon Van Wyk has sent condolences to the families of the deceased.
Premier Alan Winde is expected to visit the area on Tuesday morning.
