JOHANNESBURG - Political parties are eagerly awaiting the vote results.

Some experts have warned the ANC might receive fewer than 50-percent of the votes in these highly contested elections.

The party's NEC member Bheki Cele, stated if they don't obtain a majority, they'll address the issues that caused them to lose votes.

He said, "I am not an analyst in all that, getting below 50 percent if it's losing then it means ANC will lose but I guess we'll be one of the biggest block. Look at electorate in South Africa as an ANC I think it will be humbled to say we take whatever statement they make."
