2025 Afcon qualifiers | NMB stadium management apologises for pitch invasion

GQEBERHA - Disaster was close at hand during Bafana Bafana's Afcon qualifier against Congo Brazzaville in Gqeberha on Friday.

Unruly fans invaded the pitch during the first half of the game.

The match commissioner stopped the game in the 28th minute of the first half as it was risky for the players to continue.

Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium management has apologised to both teams.
