WATCH | SuperFans Funding | Minister pulls the plug on funding

JOHANNESBURG - The decision by Sports, Arts and Culture Minister Gayton McKenzie to pull the plug on funding for super fans, has not gone down well in some quarters.

McKenzie announced earlier this week that his department would stop footing travel and accommodation costs, of the fans both locally and internationally.

The minister says the money saved will go towards struggling athletes and artists.
