The accolades include Best Feature Film, Best Actress in a film for Jo-Anne Reyneke, Best Supporting Actor in a film for Mbongeni Ngema, and Best Use of Cinematography.

A Queen's Lobola follows the story of Cliff (Jefferson Lan) and Zamani (Linda Nxumalo), two friends who meet in London. Cliff falls for a captivating woman named Queen (Jo-Anne Reyneke) and proposes marriage. However, Queen insists on Cliff receiving her family's blessing before they can wed. Back in South Africa, Cliff faces a hefty lobola (bride price) of 100 cows. With limited time and resources, Cliff must find a way to secure his love's hand in marriage.
