JOHANNESBURG - Government officials and directors who flash their wealth will now come under scrutiny according to Public Service Minister Ayanda Dlodlo.
Dlodlo says lifestyle audits would be stepped up to root out any possible corruption.
The department will be responsible for overseeing the audits through a specialised Technical Assistance Unit.
It will also monitor the implementation of the guide.
Public servants will be required to submit a declaration of interest.
This will be checked against records from SARS and other departments to ensure that everything adds up.
