JOHANNESBURG - The ANC and the DA have formally committed to a Statement of Intent for the 2024 Government of National Unity.
WATCH: Discussion | Fears of bloated cabinet to accommodate GNU partners
Endorsed by ANC Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula and DA Federal Council Chairperson Helen Zille, the document was signed on Friday.
The statement aims to foster trust among the electorate and the parties participating in the GNU.
The Inkatha Freedom Party is also set to be a part of this collaborative effort.
Dr Hlengiwe Ndlovu from Wits School of Governance discussed this with eNCA.
