JOHANNESBURG - The ANC and DA are on Saturday meeting to attempt to iron out their difference.
The meeting comes after the DA and the Freedom Front Plus voted against the passing of the budget in Parliament last week, forcing the ANC to rely on parties outside the coalition government for support.

South Africans meanwhile are optimistic about the government of national unity.
That's according to the findings of an international survey that zoomed in on countries with new governments after elections last year.
South Africa was one of two countries that saw a significant positive shift in trust, the other was Argentina.
