EASTERN CAPE - The Sharpeville massacre, when police killed 69 people protesting against apartheid's pass laws on 21 March 1960 is now commemorated as Human Rights Day. But that wasn't the only human rights violation on that day.
History repeated itself in Langa Township, in the Eastern Cape, when 35 people were mowed down by the apartheid police in 1985.
40 years later eNCA’s senior reporter Aviwe Mtila spoke to a survivor who was part of the crowd when the killings happened.
